Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and threat intelligence to enhance defense strategies
- Ensure compliance with NIST, PCI-DSS, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience or equivalent education
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and Windows/Linux systems
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis tools
- Excellent written communication skills for reporting and documentation
