Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM systems for suspicious activity in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security controls and policies.
- Document security protocols and maintain accurate incident reports.
Qualifications
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CCNA Security certification (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SOC analysis, threat hunting, or incident response.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, SIEM, or Snort.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
