Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices for real-time flight data processing
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize system architecture for scalability and fault tolerance
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on embedded system integrations
- Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong background in distributed systems and messaging protocols (gRPC, Kafka)
- Familiarity with aerospace/aviation industry standards (DO-178C, ARP4754)
