Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and security incidents using forensic investigation tools
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Provide security awareness training for non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with specific focus on threat detection and incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to pass background check
