Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to communicate complex data stories to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Reporting: Create regular performance reports and presentations to support executive decision-making processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Software: Basic knowledge or willingness to learn data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a significant plus for this role.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
