Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk/SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and create detailed incident reports
- Implement firewall configurations and access control policies
- Perform log analysis and forensic investigations
- Develop security awareness training materials
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC analyst background
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
