Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts for potential threats
- Conduct incident response investigations and document forensic evidence
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Assist in compliance audits for frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in security operations or threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security protocols
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
