Responsibilities
- Monitor & Detect: Analyze network traffic and system logs 24/7 to identify and mitigate potential security threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead or assist in the containment, eradication, and recovery of cybersecurity incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to fortify our security posture.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to relevant industry standards and internal security policies.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and emerging attack vectors to proactively update defense strategies.
- Training: Educate internal stakeholders on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is required.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-30 hours per week).
