Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Monitor SIEM alerts and respond to security incidents within SLAs
- Develop incident response playbooks for financial sector threats
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches
- Collaborate with SOC team on threat intelligence integration
- Document security procedures and compliance reports
- Train junior staff on NIST frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of NYDFS Part 500 regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong written communication skills
