Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years hands-on experience in security operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in threat detection tools and network security protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
