Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response handling and threat mitigation
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with SOC team during security events
- Perform risk assessments for cloud environments
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience (part-time or full-time)
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
