Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices in Python/Go for high-traffic systems
- Optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure for 24/7 availability and performance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps practices
- Debug production issues with root cause analysis methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with global teams across 3 time zones
- Implement security best practices for cloud-native applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Python, Java, or Go with distributed systems
- Advanced AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect Professional)
- Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Proven track record of shipping production systems
- Strong background in testing frameworks (PyTest, JUnit)
