Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java/Python
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS with Terraform
- Lead agile sprints with Jira and CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Collaborate with global teams during handover transitions
- Debug and resolve production issues during overnight coverage
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
