Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services using Python and Java
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies and Jira
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Resolve production issues with real-time debugging and incident response
- Contribute to architectural decisions for microservices and event-driven systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM EST)
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
