Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Python, Go, and Java for high-availability systems
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP with Terraform and Ansible for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Docker/Kubernetes
- Develop security-first solutions with penetration testing and zero-trust implementation
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Resolve production issues through on-call rotation and root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years backend development
- Expertise in distributed systems, API design (REST/GraphQL), and database optimization
- Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Proven track record in Agile/Scrum methodologies with Jira proficiency
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, or Security+) preferred
