Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Go
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Kubernetes
- Optimize system performance for 24/7 global infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in APAC and EMEA regions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud platforms
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proven track record of shipping production systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in asynchronous, night-shift environment
