Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and BI tools to identify trends and anomalies during overnight processing cycles
- Generate automated reports and dashboards for executive review before daily business operations commence
- Implement data quality checks and validation protocols to ensure overnight data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during handover periods to ensure seamless data continuity
- Optimize ETL pipelines for overnight batch processing efficiency
- Document data methodologies and maintain updated knowledge base for day-shift handovers
- Proactively identify opportunities for process automation during low-traffic hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of professional data analysis experience with proven night shift or remote work background
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and at least one BI tool (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously during overnight shifts
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) data services
- Portfolio demonstrating data visualization and analytical storytelling projects
