Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security alerts and anomalous activity across enterprise networks
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform forensic analysis of security events using industry-standard tools
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and threat intelligence summaries
- Collaborate with global security teams during cross-continental threat responses
- Implement security hardening measures for cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight)
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds (MITRE ATT&CK, AlienVault)
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
