Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network audits, systems analysis, and configuration changes to ensure network availability.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure maximum uptime.
- Assist in the physical installation and termination of network cabling (Cat6, fiber optics).
- Monitor network performance and security to prevent unauthorized access.
- Document network topology, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent technical certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with network hardware (Routers, Switches, Firewalls) and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
