Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Perform routine network maintenance and ensure network performance meets quality of service.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity issues for clients.
- Terminate and test fiber and copper cabling to industry standards.
- Assist in the setup of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Document network topology, configurations, and changes accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in our paid on-the-job training program and obtain industry certifications.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, outdoors).
