Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Document network topology, configurations, and change logs accurately for future reference.
- Handle physical and logical cabling tasks, including fiber and copper termination.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security measures and firewall policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching concepts.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting software (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
