About the Role:
As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external technical support. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) by prioritizing and updating requests.
- Perform system backups and patch management to ensure network security.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and software upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
