Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployments and reduce manual errors.
- Containerization: Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker to ensure efficient microservices deployment.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and GDPR standards.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance using Prometheus and Grafana, proactively identifying bottlenecks and optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Software Engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) for seamless software delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, or Azure Administrator/Developer certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Cloud Mastery: Deep understanding of cloud networking, storage, and compute services.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
