Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, performance issues, and security threats
- Implement and monitor LAN/WAN solutions across enterprise environments
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support to resolve complex connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security compliance
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers and diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network infrastructure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client site visits
