Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and protect against cyber threats
- Document network changes and maintain up-to-date diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery tests
- Train staff on network best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
