Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and implement proactive maintenance
- Document network infrastructure changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Resolve Tier 2-3 network outages within SLA timelines
- Implement VLANs, firewalls, and VPN solutions for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on network hardening initiatives
- Provide technical support to remote users via Service Desk ticketing system
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Network Engineering or CompTIA Network+ certification
- 3+ years experience with enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark and network analyzers
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installations
- Valid driver's license for on-site client visits
