Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage ticket queues
- Implement security protocols including firewalls and VPN configurations
- Document network topology and create/update technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybrid network environments
- Perform network capacity planning and disaster recovery testing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
