Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Diagnose and resolve network outages with SLA-driven response times
- Implement security protocols (VPN, ACLs, intrusion detection) to protect systems
- Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize network solutions
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA/JNCIA certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN implementation
- Strong troubleshooting skills with OSI model expertise
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Meraki
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional site visits
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
