Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform routine maintenance on network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and user technical support tickets.
- Document network changes and configurations for future reference.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network upgrades and security patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Valid Network certification (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+ preferred).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry network equipment as needed.
- Current valid driver's license and clean driving record.
