Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and optimize bandwidth usage
- Resolve complex network outages and security incidents with minimal disruption
- Document network configurations, topologies, and incident reports
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Train end-users on network best practices and security awareness
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper devices
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills for wired/wireless networks and cloud services
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional site visits
