Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/PRTG and proactively resolve issues
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement VLAN segmentation and firewall rules
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for VoIP, VPN, and wireless network systems
- Execute network upgrades including firmware patches and hardware refreshes
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical infrastructure incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent Juniper/Cisco certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Strong analytical skills with network protocol analyzers (Wireshark)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in elevated server environments
