Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Infrastructure Support: Perform fiber optic splicing, cable management, and rack-and-stack duties for server rooms and data centers.
- Security & Compliance: Monitor network traffic, configure firewalls, and implement security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Remote Support: Provide remote technical assistance and resolve connectivity issues for distributed teams.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, inventory logs, and asset management records.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance metrics and optimize bandwidth utilization.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or IT support.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Remote Work Readiness: Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
