Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) across hybrid environments
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network changes using Visio and ServiceNow for seamless team collaboration
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for LAN/WAN issues via remote access tools
- Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/Azure network integration projects
- Conduct regular network audits to optimize performance and security posture
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification required (CompTIA Network+ accepted)
- Proficiency in IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) preferred
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex connectivity issues
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while collaborating effectively
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
