Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology and create/update technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and remediation
Qualifications
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (CompTIA Network+ acceptable)
- 3+ years experience with enterprise network administration
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN and SDN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
