Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures efficiently.
- Manage and optimize VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and firewall configurations.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and training to end-users regarding network operations.
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure security compliance and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cabling standards, and hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site maintenance as needed.
