Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure optimal uptime
- Implement security protocols and troubleshoot connectivity issues across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate on-premise solutions with AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Document network architecture and create technical documentation for stakeholders
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network incidents and coordinate with vendors
- Conduct regular network audits and implement performance optimization measures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco/Juniper routers and enterprise switching
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) desired
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
