Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network security protocols and patches
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related incidents
- Implement network optimization strategies to enhance performance and security
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper devices
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for LAN/WAN environments
- Excellent communication abilities for client interactions and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings/weekends for maintenance windows
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
