Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues for on-site and remote users
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network problems
- Support VPN setups and remote access solutions for distributed teams
- Conduct regular network maintenance and system updates
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networks
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
