Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Document network topology changes and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud integrations
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network outages and performance issues
- Conduct network capacity planning and optimization projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills for complex network diagnostics
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
