Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for enterprise systems and user devices
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Execute network security protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA Network+ certification within 6 months
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in elevated server environments
