The Role
As a Network Technician Trainee, you will work alongside senior engineers to install, maintain, and troubleshoot critical network systems for our enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform daily network maintenance and ensure system performance and stability.
- Assist in cabling infrastructure projects, including fiber and copper termination.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Document network configurations, schematics, and system changes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and connected devices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Willingness to undergo paid technical training and obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the tri-state area.
