Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect organizational data and systems
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions
- Perform regular network audits and recommend improvements
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve Tier 2/3 tickets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in server environments
