Responsibilities
- Network Design & Implementation: Design, install, and configure local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to meet organizational requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose, isolate, and resolve hardware and software network issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Hardware Management: Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and performance to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams, and change logs for all IT assets.
- Support: Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff regarding network connectivity and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Certification: Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent industry certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols, and subnetting.
- Experience: Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network security best practices.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
