Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform physical network cabling (Cat6/Fiber) and professional cable management in server rooms and conference spaces.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes accurately using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex technical issues and user connectivity problems.
- Conduct regular network audits, security assessments, and hardware inventory checks.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for cable installation tasks.
