Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless security protocols
- Document network topology and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on threat mitigation
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (Security preferred)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela)
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid Maryland driver's license
