Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure high availability and optimal speed.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of network systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security protocols and access controls.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and outages with minimal downtime.
- Document network configurations and changes for audit and training purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (OSPF, BGP), and switching protocols.
- Experience with fiber optics and wireless networking is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
