Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network outages, latency issues, and connectivity problems efficiently.
- Security Implementation: Enforce network security policies, configure VPNs, and manage access controls to protect data integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network traffic and performance metrics to ensure optimal uptime and speed.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network configurations, diagrams, and change logs.
- Support: Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related software and hardware issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification: Cisco CCNA, Network+, or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSI models, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Equipment: Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment.
