Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
- Assist in the deployment and cabling of new workstations and network infrastructure.
- Document all network changes, configurations, and issues in the company CMDB.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure seamless network integration across departments.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA is a plus.
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and hardware configuration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
