Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and resolve connectivity issues within SLA
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during cloud migrations and system upgrades
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for complex network outages and escalations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network issues
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts (24/7 support rotation)
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
