Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in real-time
- Implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex network outages
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
